Since Franco Moschino founded his eponymous brand in 1983, Moschino has been leading the list of fashion's most audacious tastemakers. The Italian label's motto was "fashion should be fun and should send a message". Moschino is known for its playful designs, with bold colour combinations, tongue-in-cheek slogans, and fast-food inspired motifs.
In 1988, the brand launched its Cheap and Chic label, a women's line that focused on easy, wearable pieces with that signature Moschino touch. Under creative director Jeremy Scott, the line continues to focus on reinterpreting cheeky basics for a young, sophisticated customer.
